Week 2 brought almost as many visitors as week 1. Thanks to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to come and meet our little girl. We are happy to report that this past week she had a few more firsts...she slept through the night twice! FYI in baby terms sleeping through the night is 6 hours, Mom was quite happy. She also experienced her first, and hopefully not last, Democratic National Convention (it was only walking along the 16th St. mall, but we did see protestors, police, and lots of Obama gear). With the Olympics and the DNC, it's been quite an exciting first few weeks for her. Too bad she won't remember any of it :-)

We were so happy to be able to see Carter and get to know her so early in her life! I am back at work and Amanda is off at Wesleyan University, but we will keep up with Carter's adventures on the blog! xxxx susan
